A sort of bridge between "Tripping the blight fantastic" and what I've been making lately. The only track on this EP without any drums on it. It's my attempt at minimal techno. But try as I might, I can't go very long without the overwhelming need to chuck something else at a track. The very first Superbug EP, back in 1999, was called "Short attention span", for this very reason. Something something leopards something.

The title comes from something my son said - he was referring to the Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race, which is almost as long as this track. Kidding, obvs, but my pal Dan once told me what he likes about EDM is the fact that when it's good it seems it could go on forever. So I deliberately let this track fall to bits at the end, haha!
